Happy 21st to my sis!

I think our family isn't the really open kind. We don't expressively professing our love for each other or like mushy stuff but I guess our little actions and thoughts say it all.

My sister turned 21 (okay turning 21 in 50mins as I write this) with a party on Saturday. Made a little video for her with her growing up photos and some well wishes from her friends. I'm glad my sacrifice of sleep the night before was pretty worth it. I mean, I was really satisfied with the video despite not sleeping the whole night and figuring the adobe video maker, and then gave up. And only started the video after my meeting with client on Saturday morning.

Anyway, I'm glad I didn't have my own party last year because just helping her planning hers was tiring enough! From the theme, to the design of invitation poster, posters for the party, polaroid-souvenir-card, to buying the little stuff (yes that's where all my money go to) like party sunglasses, "Happy Birthday" candles for $9.50 and gone in few mins., balloons...But for the fun of it...hahaha

And greater satisfaction when my dear iras gang praised it was really nice of me helping out and doing everything, and that they will want me to plan for their wedding. hahahahahaha!

JJ has been a great growing up companion. With just a year of age gap (and now looking back at the photos, our sizes really too far apart and make us seem like ages apart!), it's easier for us to click though I really dislike her personality at times. She can be irritatingly cold, building a wall around herself, annoying like some stubborn cow. But afterall, the times we spent playing together was great since we only had each other until little sis came along.

Masak masak, role plays, acting out stupid show scenes and singing the theme song (for example 和平的代价) , climbing door frames, burning incense paper together...

But I still dislike her commenting that I'm childish! Hmph.
