the greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do

I think friendship or any kinds of relationship is about giving and taking, and not about nitty gritty on who sacrificed more of anything. Afterall it takes two hands to clap! So glad to see myself (and of course my friends) to grow up so much (in terms of maturity), such that the way we handle things now is better than how we would have handled them in the past. Relieved that all's well now.

Convocation is happening in just a few hours' time. But I guess due to the long await, there's totally no feel that I'm wearing the regalia and mortarboard and getting the certificate. I'm just glad there's an opportunity for me to take leave tomorrow hahaha.

Speaking about taking leave, work has been pretty stressful with the upcoming things that are going to happen after Grayson left and now being taken care under Yen. Yen is a nice guy too and has lots of ideas for the magazine to grow, but with my sales not doing any better, I think it is going to be really busy. And I seriously need to close some sales! It's been 6 months with the company and the sales I contributed is far less than my salary for this period.

Can't believe a dog food client actually said I'm a good sales person and he might consider roping me in to handle his sales team if I decide to leave the magazine (I highly think that he is just saying).
