Happy (Chinese) New Year!

Hello guys! Happy 2012 and Happy Chinese New Year! I know I haven't been updating since about a month ago.

Well firstly, 2012 has been fine so far except I haven't really sent any resumes yet this year and I guess I'll do it next week or something. CNY's so early this year and I just didn't have time to do it. Anyway, no habit of setting resolutions because I don't adhere to them.

I haven't been slacking even though I didn't send out resumes! I've been helping to clean the house, paint my room, and catching up with some friends. So, here's a picture of my room:

I spent a week of my afternoons (since I wake up around noon everyday) doing this and I'm really satisfied with it. And being a perfectionist, I can't leave a small spot of the wall unpainted. The most tiring and time-consuming part it the measuring of the stripes spaces and sticking measuring tape on the wall to paint my stripes. I'm glad it's only 1/2 of the room that's in stripes. The other half's in full blue. And I declare myself as a professional (but slow and steady) painter :)

The left one's taken at night and the right one in the day.

And CNY pictures below!

My cute and talkative niece!

kayla again. this girl really entertains me a lot.

my nieces and nephews. kids are really the most adorable humans on earth.

So CNY started with an early reunion dinner with my dad's side which I didn't really enjoy because all of us (somehow that's how I felt) we weren't as close as when ahma was still with us. But I'm glad we had Kayla, Jacob and Ashley to liven up the atmosphere because they were the main highlights of the night. Hahaha. Kids are really good entertainment.

Anyway, I thought this CNY was pretty boring. House visiting was boring and I totally don't have the festive mood yet. Probably it's an early CNY this year and maybe due to the fact that it's not a 2-day holiday I'm looking forward to (as I've been burdenless since there's no work or school).

I'm glad only one aunt and a cousin asked us (those youngsters) to bring our partners next year. I guess this question gets more common as I get older. And that's a question that I dislike and afraid of. One thing is that I don't know what to reply and the second thing is where do I find one to bring to let you see?! Hahahahaha On that note, renting of partners in China for CNY is popularising now. Maybe I should set up one like this in Singapore. Any takers?

I don't know if I'm dumb or what. Somehow I feel that I've been slacking for this 2 months, I've lost touch with Marketing and I think I can't remember anything about it now. Omg. I really should read up on my books again. It's this feeling of being lost and helpless that I'm most afraid of. Or maybe I'm just cut out to do brainless things. I really dislike feeling empty in my brain. It's like "what have I been studying for the past 4 years?!" Aww man!!!! And it's now that I have no burdens (sort of) that I have the time to think that I'm actually pretty goal-less in life.

My main wish for this new year is: 事事顺心. 然后也希望身边单身的好朋友都可以找到另一半.
