hello lovelies! Check out more of my BKK pictures on FB!

I've been back from BKK for almost a week. But I haven't really had the time to sit down and do the things I've planned to do for the holidays.

Even though I've been to 2 lovely places for a getaway, I still needed some time to really settle down and do things like packing my room, painting the walls, putting up my textbooks online for sale, etc. I'm not procrastinating job hunting, but with a list of to-dos, I really don't have the motivation to do the job hunt now.

Anyway, BKK was really good. Of course, the shopping! Especially for the last 2 days because we stayed at this 1-week-old Novotel right above Platinum fashion mall, which is a paradise of wholesalers. I would definitely not mind going there every year to replenish my wardrobe!

Visited the grand palace, reclining buddha and Wat Pho, took the tuktuk, went to Pattaya where we did most things out of the little-est time. Such as parasailing (my first!), jet skiing, oceanwalk (walking 8m down the sea to see the fishes!) and soaking at the beach haha. Oh and the most unforgettable to and fro trip from main beach to the coral island which was so bumpy and felt so much worse than a roller coaster ride!

The thing about going on trips with family is the bonding thing for the family, other than the main benefit of having your parents pay your shopping expenses when you're officially broke. Hahaha! Well, at least I felt fun staying in a room with my sisters (which we have always been having a room to ourselves away from the parents) and we get to do "fashion walk" - parading our steals of the day! and getting my youngest sis to share her secrets with me.

Anyway, we didn't get the chance to try street food because mummy's been having bad gastrics before the trip and didn't want us to risk having unhygienic food. But we've had 2 steamboat dinners at 2 different famous thai steamboat chain and of course not forgetting satisfying my tomyum and mango sticky rice crave! I adore thai cuisine! :D

Oh and I had thai massage which was awfully painful for my shoulders and back! But it was disgustingly cheap!!!!! like just S$25 per pax and having a room to the family, and 2 full hours of thai massage! I liked the massage on my legs though :>

2011 is coming to an end. I don't have the habit of doing a list of resolutions.

Looking back 2011, it's been quite a bit of roller coaster ride. A small one.
