Guided Interactive tour's actress' Son and Daughter

Faith, 3years old, really talkative and cute! She drew a small ladybug and then I said why not we draw a bigger one. So in the end it looked like the small on was inside the big one. And then she said "My ladybug is pregnant! Mummy! Look at my pregnant ladybug!" Awwwww cute right!!! and then I asked her "is the baby a girl or boy?", she replied "hmm, I think it's a boy!" ADORABLE TTM.

This would probably be my last temp/part-time job because the next time I work, it'll be out there working as a full-timer and living the life of an ordinary working adult. Anyway, this play facilitator job has actually brought me thinking about the kind of job I want to pursue after my last semester of studies. Probably kids related stuff, and when I said this to those colleagues who asked about it, they replied "oh, go early childhood/ be a teacher". Hahaha. Well, when I was much younger I did dream about myself being a kindergarten teacher...but then I realised (through this museum job) that I wasn't really cut out to be a teacher. I think my interest lies in playing with the kids. But I guess that most likely, there wouldn't be such a post. Hahaha. Maybe working in a company dealing with kids related stuff would suffice :)

I made nice friends and I met nasty colleagues. Nice ones, needless to say, they are really nice people to be with and I can easily strike a conversation with them. Nasty ones, though I didn't really work with them in the same space (because there were a few areas), I heard and sort of seen/experienced a few incidents with them. For eg. nasty with kids, harsh on their words with kids, being really fake in front of caucasians and when the manager is around, always giving the "I dont care" face.......etc. And I learnt how bias the partnering company can be, putting their own Interns (and yes it's the interns with nasty temper) in the comfy, aircon zone and asking the rest of museum parttimers to be outside under the hot sun. What's worse was the interns could complain being tired when they are working in the comfort of a cool environment. None of them could stand 5mins outside -.-

We had volunteers who are studying on early childhood, but from what I observe, they didn't interact much with the kids, which I thought was pretty bad because they should make use of this opportunity to get to learn more about kids. Even they themselves said I was natural and good when interacting with kids. Hahahahahaha!

Oh and anyway, helping out with the guided interactive tour (around the galleries for the kids) has actually allowed me to memorise almost the whole script hahahaha. And my supervisor got irritated by my chanting of a poem (that was part of the actors' script). Lol.

Okay, I guess I shall end it somewhere here. Otherwise, you guys probably think I'm a pedophile or something :D

I thought school reopens on 4th, but actually on 11th! So it means "another" week of holidays! :)
