study break starts....soon hahaha

YAY School's out! (but no screaming and shouting) because it's one month of study break! One month may seem long to you guys but I think it's pretty short because I like to procrastinate (max) and one month is definitely not enough for me to nua hahahaha

And so all projects are done and submitted. Oh except this totally catch-no-balls Business Ethics which the lecturer, himself, doesnt even know the cases well :/ So it's pretty tough work and since it's Ethics, this actually means there's no right or wrong answers! Darn.

This time's exams is damn screwed with the readings for Advanced Marketing Concepts and Applications that's really thick and I don't think I can finish reading them :/ Though there's only 2 chapters for Business Ethics, they're really super brief and actually, we still need to read through other chapters. Marketing Comm sounds alright but it's all chapters so I know it's another horrible one. Service Quality, I guess, is much better since only 5 chapters are tested BUT seems like the answers she gave during revision lecture for some past year questions require mentioning of those un-tested chapters.

Gone case! And I should start revising....like soon. Hahahahaha!

Anyway, I went for USS interview today and it was pretty alright :) It was a 6 interviewees to 3 interviewers interview. Sounds pretty stressful but luckily the interviewers were friendly and the interviewees were nice too!

I just can't stop smiling at my stupid answer whenever I think of it. One of the "questions" was to give us 1min and get to know our partners (we were separated into pairs) & then after the time's up, introduce your partner to the interviewer. My partner and I were the first pair (since we were sitting 1st and 2nd seats) and my partner introduced me first. We didn't manage to share much but the interviewer asked this : so what does she (referring to me) likes to eat?

And since we didn't share about this, my partner, who was a nice and cute malay girl, crapped that I like western food. (I was totally like: what?! lol!!) & then I knew when it was my turn to introduce the malay girl, the interviewer will ask me too. And being right on the dot, he asked me what my partner liked to eat. The first thing that came into my mind was "malay food! duh!" but instead I crapped that she like Mee Siam. Like totally laughing stock only because the interviewer gave me the smiling look lol.

And I'm glad I'm quite lucky because all the questions I got was pretty easy and straightforward. And of course, thanks to Liying (who's recently got in to work) who gave such cute Q&A for us, I think Fel and I did quite well :)

But I guess I'm sending my resume to my mum's friend who I think needs people to do some national museum event. Shall just try my luck. Heh. I need money!!! Bank's seriously depleting of money! Especially I'll be going to HK with SPCs ;P

Anyway, if you guys did go on stomp or know about this atas girl from holland v who got infamous by complaining how uncultured heartland people are on the radio, I'm sure you'll be enraged by it.

I seriously don't know why such people exist in Singapore where there's no serious classification of social classes, and yet people like her, try to push themselves away from one united people and calling themselves the cultured people who lives in holland v AND degrading the heartland people by stereotyping us as uncultured people.

Firstly, she doesnt sound atas to begin with. Using words like "dress like one kind. talk like one kind." doesn't sound cultured nor atas because these words are what usual "heartlanders" use. And I thought atas people talk must have angmoh slang one? But she don't have lor :/

Secondly, cultured people don't even call in to complain. Complain is such a heartlander hobby so I don't understand why she has to call in and be bothered with "uncouth hearlanders". Gahhh.

Thirdly, what makes her think that heartlanders don't earn enough money to go HER atas places (holland v and orchard) to have meals. That's serious stereotyping. anyway, WHO IN THE RIGHT MIND WOULD GO HOLLAND V TO HAVE 10BUCKS LAKSA WHEN KATONG 3BUCKS LAKSA IS 100x NICER?! Your holland v. laksa and our katong laksa ends up in the same digestive system and comes out as the same waste. And I bet lots of rich people end up at katong eating the nice and worthy laksa.

Forthly, please do not tell me that atas people don't wear tees, shorts and slippers. Like HELLO?! THIS IS SINGAPORE. HOT WEATHER 24/7, 365 days. ITS LIKE YOU ARE IN HAWAII OR PHUKET OR BALI FOR 24/7 365 days and imagine wearing jeans, sneakers etc. MUST BE OUT OF YOUR MIND. And please don't tell me you don't wear shorts with slippers when you walk around your atas holland v for a quick bite or something.

You tell me, why got people like that one?!
