I know I haven't been posting since..........before CNY. Heh! That's because I was really occupied with fish's present, outings w so many people and of course, spring cleaning.

And now that I'm slightly free, since we handed in our AMCA CA1-4 today, I can't really remember if anything significant happened last few weeks.

Maybe I shall start with the earliest outing with IRAS peeps (maybe we should have a clique name so it's nicer than calling us the IRAS peeps). First time being at a flea market (at esplanade) which people are selling their used stuff (or some new) for really cheap prices. But I didn't like how cramp & dark it was. Well still, I got myself a few deals. Anyway, our second shopping place was to bugis street which was as crowded as well (because of crazy crowds shopping for CNY), and I got myself a top heh! Then it was going to Intercontinental hotel for toilet and rest (sounds really cheapo but a lot of people has discovered this awesome place for restroom and it's becoming crowded :( ) We gave Shyan her simple but heartwarming birthday gift, & I really adore the book/birthday card I bought from Taiwan. And we really want you, yes you Shyan, to smile brightly & live your life cheerfully. And of course, I can never get sick of neoprints, so we got ourselves posing inside the machines :D

The next was of course, giving our dear fish her 21st surprise on 初一 midnight even though it was quite a failed one. We made it to her condo at about 12am, however, thanks to the security controls at the entrance, the security guard had to call to fish's unit to inform them that "jasmine's friends" (we told him to say that) are going in. And also thanks to fish's maid, she announced to the family that "Jasmine's friends are here".

Aye kind of failed! But we still made the effort to surprise her with the awesome cake & our nicely done DSLR!

Myrin's 21st was next! Again it was meant to be a surprise, but the scared and curious Myrin, who was blindfolded, removed the blindfold and saw YL & Sheena in the car. (And thanks Myrin, please remember no one will kidnap you okay! :D ) While YL, Sheena & Mag were "escorting" her in YL's car, the rest of us were at Marina Barrage, not enjoying the cold (and not cooling) wind (and not breeze)! It was not a feat blowing 21 balloons and poking them into the super hard soil! But it was still nice after everything was done, and I truly hope Myrin enjoyed the simple surprise :D

We gave mag a farewell dinner at Bugis, with nice fish head curry and then desserts at Illuma's yoghurt shop. We had so much fun taking/ spamming unglam photos & it's been such a long time since we had such fun snapping around. & We were all satisfied with the 250+ photos! :D We passed mag the instant laksa pack (which she couldnt bring over the customs sadly), that was meant to be a facade to deceive her that that was all for her farewell gift. And I think she jolly well took it for granted :)

6 of us (excluding carrie who couldn't make it in time) sent Maggie off at the airport. It wasn't as sad/ "tearful" as we expected because Terminal 1's departures hall was renovating & we missed the long glass panel that lets you see the long walk to the custom counters, so mag couldn't turn back and wave. If it was this scenario, I bet I have to supply tissues to our dear clique members :D Oh yes, we gave mag her 2nd and 3rd part of the farewell gift - a RoughGuide's Tasmania Guide (which thankfully she hasn't bought any) & a small little scrapbook/ our own version of Dummy's Guide.

To mag: bring the roughguide with you to explore the best of Tasmania & show us the photos of the awesome places you've been! 1 year is going to pass real fast, & hopefully while you're busy making friends and studying hard over there, don't forget awesome people who are waiting for you here in Singapore!
