anyway today's lecture was at 12-3 and deadline was before 5pm. many people still doing last min chionging and some just to be kiasu to ensure their report is safe, they went up to let the local lecturer look thru. (by the way, our assignments are scanned in and sent to the australia lecturers to assess) SO it was kind of not the local lecturer's business in marking the assignment. and i thought it was rly unfair for the lecturer to give comments about the report when people went up to let him look thru..it's like some of them went to edit their report whereever the lecturer told them they didnt do well. for eg, the missing apostrophes for direct quotations that you get from the text directly or like the reflections part are too brief/short. and then these people after getting the comments, chionged to change their report.

i mean its just to unfair right? unfair for those who decided to just submit the assignment in. i mean you may say we are dumb to hand in first and not let the local lecturer look thru, but hello, this is like an individual assignment. To be partial to everyone and fair to everyone's works, the local lecturer shouldnt even be consulted anything regarding the content. Consultation periods were over like last week, and i dont see how and why should the lecturer even entertain students consulting him today on the day of submission!

what's you take, seriously? imagine you didnt know you could get last min consultation and remarks on your report, and you score quite badly. vs those who consulted the lecturer on the day of submission and since there was still time before deadline, went to edit their report base on the mistakes/grey areas pinpointed by the lecturer?

thats the feedback i'll give to this lecturer at the end of the semester. we pay the same amount to receive the education and to get fair assessment/grades for our assignments.

okay enough of yap kuan wah (yes our ob lecturer) even though he's lectures are quite alright.

went to watch despicable me in 3d today. 3d's btr for the rollercoaster part and credits where the minions come out again! today was suppose to be a 'bond' thing for our team hahas, like whereby we just go out for fun and not for projects. the other 2 non-SPs ps-ed us, and i thought it was quite irritating. one said we didnt confirm with her (which was obvious that we were watching today since i smsed her sth abt today's outing ytd) and the other one is one of those who consulted the lecturer and did last minute editings to her report and caused us to book a tix for her alr and cant be refunded. in the first place if you were not that willing to go, why tell us you can make it?

sighhhhh whats wrong with people nowadays. why cant all of us just be real?!
