stereotyping

blogging less frequently nowadays hahas. nothing much to talk about anyway. quite unhappy today anyway. (nvm)



saw this pic in one of the lecture notes for BBM i think and i thought it was quite true abt stereotyping. somehow in a way or another, everyone of us cant deny the fact we are stereotyping people. but sometimes, stereotyping can be irritating, for the one being stereotyped. like,why must i behave in the way you think i should?why should i do it just because you think i should?

like "im from marketing, so im supposed to know/do everything about 4Ps" (im not hinting at anything lol. later myrin thought i talking abt our BD)

oh yes, and for example i hate it when people stereotype those people who looks so much bigger in size than their siblings like: oh,your sister is so small in size, you ate their food is it?

isnt that stereotyping fat people with eating a lot/ eating their siblings' portion of food?

and steoreotyping the eldest sibling to have the responsibility. and also that when the younger siblings cry or scream for help, its always the eldest one being scolded.

agree?

anymore stereotyping examples,friends? hahas.

like china/indian men are smelly, dirty, disgusting and scary? (no offence anyway!) hahaha

or personally, you were being stereoptyped.
