roughly it's abt ah-Miao (miriam yeung)missing a lot of opportunities while looking for her mr.right before she turns 30..yupyup..in the end she did not find her mr. right but she was successful in her career.and she named her shop "MISS".meaning she is stil single as well as reminding herself she missed opportunities.

1997年的夏天，27岁的阿妙跟欠债累累、拈花惹草的卖鱼父亲，被逼来到富贵墟打工抵债。见尽街市中人际关系交错纠缠的她，决心不嫁给街市的男人。她订下三年计划，目标是在30岁前帮父亲还清欠债，离开街市，找一个值得嫁的人，打破宿命。


　　同样是卖鱼出身的鱼佬是一个将一生都投资在富贵墟的街市恶霸，面对机灵的阿妙，二人展开生意上的连番恶斗。随着超市的出现，街市陷于困境。鱼佬为了拯救富贵墟，被逼与势成水火的阿妙合作。最后，虽然救市失败，但过程中，鱼佬与阿妙都对对方产生了特别的感觉，可是，一直嫌弃街市的阿妙始终跨不过爱上街市男人的心理关口。


　　不久，妙父因心脏病离世，为免与鱼佬在富贵墟朝夕相对，阿妙乘着政府宣布清拆富贵墟之际，决定离开街市。她参加了政府再培训计划的化妆课程，希望藉化妆为自己换一个新的脸孔，从此告别过去。阿妙在化妆界开始了新生活，世界忽然间变大了，有着一种未知去向、又恍似重生的天空海阔。


　　时光消逝，2005年的秋天，移民外地多年的菜婆带着患病的鸡佬回“家”——属于他们的富贵墟。也许是一种感情的投射，亦是一种集体的回忆，鱼佬、阿妙与猪肉佬为了患病鸡佬，决定把众市场商贩找回来，重建昔日的富贵墟！过程中错漏百出，但一直逃避富贵墟、逃避爱情的阿妙，却终于明白到什么条件、身份、期限其实都并不重要，她寻找的原来只是一个自己喜欢而且又喜欢自己的人。


　　面对生活的挣扎、对爱情态度的转变，十年回首，他们与富贵墟一起，在错失的岁月中成长。

yup,so both of them werent tgt in the end.cos when she wan to accept eason chan,eason chan was married with kids.oh ya,1 yr before mariam left the market,she went for matchmaking before.and she rejected tt guy.a few days before she left the market,tt guy who matched make wif her called to meet her up and she realised he was engaged.she was damn disappointed cos she wanted to accept him.
